Being Green.

Being green, not to be confused with green beans. Classic Woodworking Factory has chosen to use only lumber that grows locally (from Oregon, southern Washington and northern California), and is either FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or salvage. You will not see exotic woods shipped from far away lands used in the goods offered by Classic Woodworking Factory.

The lumber offcuts are given to neighbors to help heat their home, while sawdust and shavings are put to use as garden mulch. The finishing materials used are natural organic products that, like maple syrup, are collected by people, not products of the petrochemical industry.

Classic Woodworking Factory selects packaging and shipping materials that are biodegradable and/or made of recycled materials and makes every effort to avoid single use plastic in any aspect of the creation and shipping of goods.
